Anyone attending nationals and needs a host family, please email juliedoyle@modwest.com. We've dont this it he past with our groms and boys while they trained with the US Team last year and it worked out great!!
Surfing America will be hosting USA CHAMPS August 24-30 Hungtington Beach Pier.The TGSA slot list HAS BEEN SUBMITTED. Anyone else wishing to attend, please send your info asap to jul.polansky@grandecom.net. We will need your name, phone number, mailing address, email adress, and date of birth.

TGSA STATE CHAMPS HELD AT BOB HALL PIER JUNE 13, 2009
Results
TSSC ran June 13 in waist high semi choppy combo S-SE swell. Conditions improved throughout the day and a good time was had by all. The mens' final was the highlight heat of the day with Shane Wiggins and Justin Jalufka duking it out wave after wave. In the end Justin would take it snagging a rare nugget allowing for a more explolsive link up a variety of manuevers. Corey Willams also shined in Open Longboard.

This year's recipient of the Wave Lady Scholarship is Dara Dalton. Her essay on what surfing means to her was quite moving.

Results
Contest was run in waist to chest high choppy surf on Sat with wind dying on Sunday. Surf was waist to chest high and glassy on Sunday with clearing skies. Finals were held in the during best wave conditions of the weekend.
