Sponsorships for the 2019/2020 Season
The Texas Gulf Surfing Association (TGSA) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1988 to promote the sport of surfing and protect surfing resources along the Texas coast. It is the member-based governing body for amateur surfing in Texas and advances surfers to the USA and NSSA National Championships. TGSA provides an annual series of surf competitions with an emphasis on surfing progression, good sportsmanship, support of education, environmental responsibility and camaraderie among members. TGSA provides entry-level events for youth, points-rated competitive events, and pro/am and specialty events, and supports an All Star Team and scholarship program.
TGSA contests attract members from up and down the Texas coast and their families for weekend events, usually running from early Saturday through mid-day Sunday, with a pre- contest event possible on Friday. The TGSA provides demand for lodging, food and other businesses in the venue location, as well as brand exposure among an influential group of consumers. TGSA is a tax exempt non-profit organization as described in Section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES
Level 1:
$500 Cash Sponsorship: Sponsor logo will appear on TGSA social media and website and on State Championship t-shirt. Banner may be provided by sponsor for display at events. TGSA will recognize the sponsor in event announcements.

Level 2:
$1000 Cash Sponsorship: All Level 1 benefits plus TGSA will provide banner with sponsor logo for display at events.
Level 3:
Presenting Sponsor for an Event:
Points-rated events: $750 District events; $1500 Open events; $2500 State Championship event. All Level 1 benefits plus sponsor’s name is included in the title of the event. If practical, the awards ceremony or other member gathering will be held at sponsor’s business location. Additional sponsorship funds may be provided for event-related extras such as live music, BBQs, etc. by mutual agreement.
Specialty events: Presenting sponsorship of specialty non-points rated events will be determined based on the nature of the event and related costs.
Level 4:
All Star Team Sponsorship: $2500: All Level 1 benefits plus sponsor’s name displayed as title sponsor of the All Star Team on team uniforms and on TGSA social media and website. TGSA will provide banner with sponsor logo for display at events. There may be more than one All Star Team sponsor.
Level 5:
Season Sponsor: $5000: All Level 1 benefits plus sponsor’s logo will appear prominently on TGSA social media and website, and on all t-shirts and other TGSA branded items ordered during the season. TGSA will provide banner with sponsor logo for display at events. Portions of a season sponsorship may be designated for specific uses (e.g., jerseys, canopies) by agreement.

The TGSA will work with potential sponsors to develop customized sponsorships for specific purposes, including educational scholarships, specific equipment needs and product sponsorships.

All TGSA sponsors will be welcome to erect a 10 X 10 canopy with sponsor logo at events, to be placed as instructed by the Competition Director. Canopies will be adequately secured by water/sand buckets on all corners or otherwise, and the sponsor will be responsible for insuring that the tent is secure.
